Print Request

Standard Print Request

1. Format Name

   The name of the format file to be printed.

2. Batch Size (Duplicates)

   The number of identical labels in each batch.

3. Number of Batches

   The number of batches to print. Each batch will print multiple labels up to the limit set by Batch Size. The first label in each batch updates data such as incremented fields. The remaining labels in a batch are copies.

4. Duplex Print

   Select Yes to send a duplicate of the job to another printer.

5. Printer Number

   The number and name of the printer to send the job to.

6. Alternate Printer

   The number and name of another printer to send the job to if the printer is not available.

7. Hold Job

   If yes then the job will be added to the Print Queue as a frozen job and will need to be manually started.

8. Description

   The description of the job.

All Records Print Request

This request form is shown when a database field is set to **ALL RECORDS**

1. Format Name

   The name of the format file to be printed.

2. Batch Size (Duplicates)

   The number of identical labels in each batch.

3. Where

   Leave this blank to print all records in the database. Otherwise an expression may be entered to select the records to print. Each record is printed as a batch. The first label in each batch updates data such as incremented fields. The remaining labels in a batch are copies.

4. Order By

   Leave this blank if the print order of the records does not matter. Otherwise enter a comma separated list of database field names to use as sort keys.

5. Duplex Print

   Select Yes to send a duplicate of the job to another printer.

6. Printer Number

   The number and name of the printer to send the job to.

7. Alternate Printer

   The number and name of another printer to send the job to if the printer is not available.

8. Hold Job

   If yes then the job will be added to the Print Queue as a frozen job and will need to be manually started.

9. Description

   The description of the job.
